In short, by using our online form, an initial contact is established and questions can be answered without the need for a face to face consultation. Once all preliminary issues have been dealt with, a description of the invention together with any drawings, photo's, or sketches are e-mailed to the patent attorney. At the same time, the client provides the names and addresses of all inventor(s) and all applicant(s) for the invention online and pays a deposit equal to the cost of the patent application (which appears on our order page) to us either by direct deposit or by using www.thirt.com credit card payment facility. Once the deposit has been received the specification will be drafted and sent for comment and/or approval to the client. The client has two opportunities to make changes to the specification, where after the specification is finalized and the application filed. Proof of filing of the application is e-mailed to the client within 3 days of the Patent Office returning the filing receipt with the patent application number. |
